QuietComfort® 15 headphones feature exclusive Bose® advancements in noise reduction technology, making them our quietest yet. You hear even less noise and more of your music—with brilliant sound and a long-lasting comfortable fit. You won't find this combination of benefits in any other headphone. And when you hear them, you’ll understand why they’ve received critical acclaim.
Within every pair of QuietComfort® 15 headphones, advanced electronics provide full-spectrum noise reduction. Microphones inside and outside each ear cup sense the sounds around you, and then reduce the noise. Our proprietary ear cushion technology creates a critical acoustical seal to block some of the noise before it even reaches your ears.
QC®15 headphones feature proprietary signal processing and our TriPort® acoustic headphone structure for more lifelike sound—including deep low notes—from small, lightweight ear cups. The first time you wear them, you may be surprised to hear nuances in your favourite songs that you missed before. So plug in and let your music shine. The interchangeable audio cables fit the standard 3.5 mm jacks found on virtually every smartphone, tablet or laptop.
When you’re finished listening to your music on a very long flight, and you just want to be one with your thoughts. That’s when our proprietary Acoustic Noise Cancelling® technology stands on its own to hush the world around you. With the luxurious fit and a welcome quiet, you may just forget you have the headphones on.
QuietComfort® 15 headphones come with an additional cable customised for selected Apple devices. A three-button remote and inline microphone let you take calls on your iPhone and manage music on other Apple devices. You can control volume, track selection and voice applications, plus easily switch between calls and music. You can also purchase a mobile kit that lets your QC®15 headphones work with other mobile phones, too.
Fold-flat ear cups rotate 90 degrees for easy storage and portability in the included case.
Interchangeable, detachable audio cables offer greater convenience than permanently connected Y-cables. One cable is specifically designed for your Apple devices.
An airline adapter plug lets you connect to in-flight entertainment systems equipped with dual output connectors.
Do QuietComfort® 15 headphones use batteries?
Yes. QuietComfort® 15 headphones run on a single AAA battery, included in the box. You can expect an average of 35 hours of use per battery.
Why are there two cables included with QuietComfort® 15 headphones?
These interchangeable cables enhance the versatility of QuietComfort® 15 headphones. The cable with inline microphone and remote enables calling and audio control with selected Apple devices. The standard cable is for listening only and works with iPhone and most other mobile phones, in-flight entertainment systems, MP3 and CD players—any device with a 3.5 mm headphone jack.
What does the inline remote control do?
The inline remote controls audio and calling functions on selected Apple devices. You can adjust volume, play/pause, skip forward/back, fast forward/rewind and change playlists. You can also answer/end phone calls and switch between calls on your iPhone. The microphone provides hands-free conversation and accesses certain voice applications, such as VoiceOver or Voice Control, where available.
Are these headphones wireless?
Not in the conventional sense. The included audio cable must be used to hear audio from portable media players, home stereos, laptops and the like. If you simply want to use the headphones to reduce background noise, however, no audio cable is needed.
Do the headphones need to be turned on to listen to an audio source?
Yes. Turning on the power switch lets you hear your audio source and enjoy the added benefits of reduced background noise.
