Better by design
We've designed our industry-leading headphones with higher-quality materials and finishes. They're lightweight, and ear cups rotate even more for a better fit. The headband sits closer to your head, with luxurious suede-like material underneath for extra comfort. If the AAA battery runs out, you can still enjoy music without noise reduction. And the ear cups pivot to fit in a compact case that’s easy to carry.
Less noise. More relaxing.
QC®25 headphones let you focus on what matters—your music, movies and videos. And block out what you don’t want to hear. Like a crowded city street. Cabin noise inside an airplane. Or a busy office. Advanced noise reduction technology and unique electronics make it happen. Even the ear cushions give you an extra level of quiet by sealing out the world around you.
True to life sound
Many of our engineers are also musicians, with a passion for music. So when you wear these headphones, you’ll hear ringing guitars. Soaring vocals as the chorus kicks in. Deep bass and crisp drums drive the beat forward. Bose® Active EQ and TriPort® technology deliver performance so compelling, you’ll want to listen for hours. And the fit’s designed so you can.
You're in control
Whichever model QC25 headphones you choose (for Apple or Samsung and Android™ devices), the inline microphone/remote puts music and call controls at your fingertips. Many features are also compatible with today's most popular phones.
Yes. QC®25 headphones run on a single AAA battery, included in the box. You can expect an average of 35 hours of use per battery.
Can I listen to music even if the battery has run out?
Yes. QC®25 headphones are still able to play audio if the battery is depleted. Without power, however, noise cancelling and Active EQ, which electronically provides more lifelike audio reproduction, are disabled. These technologies need power to operate.
Which Apple products are compatible with QC®25 headphones?
QC®25 headphones are designed specifically for use with select iPod, iPhone and iPad models. The inline microphone/remote puts controls at your fingertips. Switch easily between music and calls, and adjust volume, play or pause, skip songs, fast forward or rewind, even change playlists.
Which Samsung products are compatible with QC®25 headphones?
QC®25 headphones are designed to connect specifically to Samsung mobile phones.
Are QC®25 headphones waterproof?
No. They are not designed to be used in wet environments.
Are these Bluetooth® audio headphones?
No. QC®25 headphones are not Bluetooth®-enabled, but they can be used without a cable for noise cancellation. For wireless convenience and Bose® quality sound, please consider our wireless headphones.
Why is an extra adapter included with QC®25 headphones?
You can use the airline adapter plug to connect to in-flight entertainment systems that have dual output connectors.

Amazing ability let down by poor qualityMy partner and I, after some deliberation, bought a pair each 11 months ago and for the first time ever, slept much better on long haul flights. I have since used the pair weekly in the open plan office where I work when I need to concentrate undisturbed. I found the noise cancelling works best with low frequencies,so conversation is very much dulled out though still audible. It works best with music.
My ears are large so I find many headphones are uncomfortable, but the cups on these are large and oval, allowing me to wear them for hours without discomfort or pain, like on other headphones. The pads are still comfortable and it's good to have the option to replace them.
Occasionally, I have worn them whilst walking outside and found the audio lead connecting to the left ear piece can work itself loose.
Today I found the right ear piece not functioning, which is a big disappointment and unexpected for headphones in this price range. I treat my headphones carefully, always keeping them in the soft shell case. Reading other reviews I see others experience the same problem. I hope Bose can address whatever is leading to this - the product works great, but the quality is a let down.

You have to get these if you like music.I bought a set a year ago and my god you forget where you are when your sat down with your favourite music on, you can have them so quiet and still enjoy your music, when you take them off you forget how loud the world is!!
I bought the new type for my partner recently and the added feature that if the battery runs out you can still listen music is a good improvement. They sound great but I feel they don't sound as great as the old style ones I have.......they show up poor quality music conversion, even CD quality setting on iPod, you can tell there's something missing, there great on the phone streaming music and my personal CD player.
Worked very well on the plane cutting out engine noise.
My only comment is the old style when using outside, the wind noise picked up by the mics for noise cancelling is upsetting but not the end of the world. Haven't tried hers yet..

Jack is shorting on iPhone 6The headphone cable and jack does not seem to work with an iPhone 6: play gets interrupted by Siri and sometimes skips and sometimes pauses and plays. I read somewhere else that the jack is not compatible with the metal case of the iPhone 6. Big problem as that's the only device I bought them for.

disappointingBrought these in October last year after 2 weeks the right ear stopped working. I had only used them 3 times in the space of that 2 weeks. Took these back to the store and they agreed that they had a problem. They then gave me another pair, and now after 5 months they have packed up with the same problem. Due to the high price of these ear phones I have taken very good care of them, no knocks and have never been dropped. I am soooo disappointed in these. These were great while they worked. These clearly have a fault. I will never purchase another bose product again. Grrrrrr

unrivalled sound and noise cancellation BUT...the sound and the noise cancellation is almost perfect, they make me look forward to listening to some music whenever i get some free time. they are not too loud so they don't batter your eardrums but the music is all you hear because of the noise cancellation feature.
i however feel like this would have been a better product if it had an inbuilt rechargeable battery like the wireless ones
these headphones are also not very durable. the right side of the first pair i bought just stopped working after 5 months even though i was always extra careful with them. i got a replacement pair two months ago and now there is a loose connection in the cable close to the jack, and this cuts off the music if i touch or move the cord around that area.
i however commend Bose customer service and after sales service for dealing with the with matter very politely, professionally and promptly.

Really cancels the noiseWhen I take a nap while my wife watches the TV, I put these on less the connecting cable like earmuffs. Without her having to turn the volume down, I can't hear a thing.

Could be so much better with a bit of thought.Firstly I would like to say that these are good earphones. The noise cancelling is good - especially if you have kids and a loud wife. The headphones are well proportioned and comfortable. They are stylish and well balanced. The lead is a good size, just right. Lastly, the functions are easy to use.
However these headphones are battery powered with an on/off switch. This is very annoying and a bit 1980's as it is extremely easy to put them down and forget to turn them off. You will go through many batteries. A simple 'auto off' function is standard these days. Technology that does the thinking for us is the way forward, the future, and technology that is needy is obviously going to be superseded.

Bose QC 25Excellent pair of headphones a little expensive but your paying for quality, the only downside is there a little tight around my ears but other than that they are comfortable
