Using groups

Things to know about groups

Grouping speakers lets you play the same audio simultaneously on multiple speakers. You can create a group one of two ways:

Group two or more Bose smart speakers in the Bose Music app. Bose smart speakers include:

  • Bose Portable Home Speaker
  • Bose Home Speaker 300
  • Bose Home Speaker 450
  • Bose Home Speaker 500
  • Bose Soundbar 500
  • Bose Soundbar 700

Group one Bose smart speaker to one BluetoothⓇ speaker or headset

Note: When grouping this way, there can be a slight audio delay between the smart speaker and Bluetooth speaker, however, the following Bose Bluetooth products have been optimised to play in sync when grouped via Bluetooth:

  • Bose Noise Cancelling Headphones 700
  • QuietComfort 35 wireless headphones
  • QuietComfort 35 wireless headphones II
  • Bose Solo 5 TV sound system
  • SoundLink Color Bluetooth speaker
  • SoundLink Color Bluetooth speaker II
  • SoundLink Micro Bluetooth speaker
  • SoundLink Mini Bluetooth speaker
  • SoundLink Mini Bluetooth speaker II
  • SoundLink Revolve Bluetooth speaker
  • SoundLink Revolve+ Bluetooth speaker

Tip: If you experience an audio delay when grouping one of these products, be sure the latest product update is installed. To update your Bluetooth product, visit btu.bose.com.
