Using multiple Bluetooth connections
Multi-point is a feature that allows your product to connect to more than one Bluetooth device. This is useful to switch between two smartphones without disconnecting and reconnecting each time.
Switching between connected devices
- Pause audio on your first mobile device.
- Play audio on your second mobile device.
- Your headphones receive phone calls from both devices, regardless of which device is playing audio
- You can also switch between two devices using the Bose app
. You can access this option from the Settings menu
Try disabling the Multi-point Connection function in the Bose app.
Notifications and other Bluetooth communications from a second connected device may interrupt or interfere with your listening experience from your primary device. To prevent this from happening, you can turn off the Multi-point Connection function so that only one device connects to your headphones or earbuds.
- In the Bose app
, select you headphones or earbuds.
- Tap on the Settings icon in the upper-right corner, then select Bluetooth Connections.
- If the setting is enabled, as shown above, tap on the toggle switch to move the switch to the left which will disable the function.
