"‹SOURCE› No signal" message displayed

This message appears when audio and/or video signal is not detected from the connected device. To resolve this, try the following:

Verify the source device is powered on.

Turn the device on by using the power toggle in the control frame. If the device will not turn on, see Programming your remote.

Check the audio settings of the connected device.

Many devices with digital audio have related menu options, like multichannel formats and sample rates. In the device menu, look for audio or sound options and, if available, select Dolby Digital 5.1. If a sample rate option is available, be sure your system supports the selected sample rate. (Tip: If your unsure what to select, 44.1 KHz should be supported. For more info on supported sample rates, see the specifications for your product.)

If a device is connected to the TV and then audio from the TV is connected to your system, turn up both the device and TV volume controls.

Some TVs and devices have a volume control on the device or in the device menu. Be sure the device and TV volume controls are both set to the maximum. Then, control the overall volume with your Bose system. (Tip: Some TVs and devices have a volume control in their menu settings. Look in the menu for related audio/sound settings to adjust. A common setting is an audio output option that can be set to Fixed.)

Reset your system

A reset is used to correct occasional product issues. It is not something that a product should require repeatedly. For more info, see Resetting your product.

Try connecting a different audio device.

If available, connect another audio device using the same cables and connections to determine if the issue is related to the first device or its settings.
