Serial number location
Serial numbers contain important information about your product, including model number and DOM (Date of Manufacture). The serial number can be found on your product, product packaging or app (if applicable).
QC2 serial number location.
The headset serial number is located inside the right earcup, at the back of the earcup. It is not necessary to remove the earcup cushion or the scrim to see this serial number
Note: Headphones built before August of 2003 do not have serial numbers

QuietComfort 2 date of manufacture location:
The DOM (Date of Manufacture) code is found inside the left earcup on a label toward the lower part of the earcup. You do not need to remove anything from the earcup. However, you may need to gently push aside the scrim and ear cushion to view the code.
