Replacing the battery in your product

The battery in your product can be removed so you can insert a new battery if your battery weakens or dies. Find out how to access and replace the battery.

To attach or detach the battery:

Note: If the battery is not used for 30 days or is being connected for the first time, it is in sleep mode. Power off and back on your product to wake the battery.

  1. On your product, push the power switch the to middle OFF position
  2. Unplug the power cord
  3. On the bottom of your product, remove the two screws securing the battery compartment cover, then remove the cover
  4. Insert or remove the battery from the battery compartment
    Tip: If you have difficulty inserting the battery, be sure the connector pins on the battery align to those in the compartment
  5. Align the battery compartment cover to the bottom of your product, then reattach the two screws.
