Checking the remaining battery charge

Find out how to check the battery level of your product using the product lights or the Bose app, if applicable.

To check the battery level:

Each time you power on the speaker, a voice prompt announces the battery level. When the speaker is in use, a voice prompt announces if the battery needs to be charged. Make sure the voice prompts are enabled to hear the battery level. See, Enabling or disabling voice prompts.

To hear the battery charge level while using your speaker, press and hold the Power button until you hear a voice prompt.

To visually check the battery, press and hold the Power button while viewing the battery light:
  • Solid white - Battery Level 20-100% (Fully charged if connected to power)
  • Blinking white - Battery Level 1-19%
  • Quickly blinks amber (3 seconds) when the Power button is pressed - Battery level too low to power on.
For more light indicators, see Understanding LED indicator status lights and information.
