Checking the remaining battery charge

Find out how to check the battery level of your product using the product lights or the Bose app, if applicable.

Check the remaining battery charge.

To determine the remaining battery charge level, turn the headset on and locate the battery light on the side of the headset. If the headset is already on and no lights are lit, press any button on the headset to activate the Bluetooth® and battery indicators, as they turn off after 10 seconds of inactivity to conserve battery power

When not charging:

  • A solid green light indicates that ½ to 8 hours of battery life remains
  • A solid amber light indicates that less than ½ hour of battery life remains
  • A blinking red light indicates that the battery must be recharged and the Bluetooth module will not work

When charging:

  • A blinking amber light indicates the Bluetooth module is charging
  • A solid green light indicates the Bluetooth module is fully charged
  • A solid red light indicates the Bluetooth module is not within acceptable temperature range
Note: When connected to the SoundLink headphones, the mobile device will display the headphone battery charge level near the upper-right corner of the screen
