Updating the software or firmware of your product

You will need

• A computer with an Internet connection
• A blank USB drive

Updating your product

1. Power off your Bose soundbar
2. Unplug the power cord from the soundbar or from the power outlet
3. Connect an empty USB drive to your computer
4. Click here to download the update file to the computer
5. Save or move the downloaded file to the USB drive, then eject the drive from your computer
6. Insert the USB drive into the SERVICE jack on the back of your soundbar
7. Reconnect power to your soundbar to start the update:
   • Update time varies based on the update content
   • The light on the soundbar will continue to blink amber during the update
   • Once updated, the light on the soundbar turns off
8. Once complete, remove the USB drive and resume normal use.
