Using the Touch Control Shortcut

A Shortcut enables you to quickly and easily check the earbud battery level or skip a track.

Setting and using the Shortcut

  1. To set a Shortcut, go to the Bose app settings menu and choose "Shortcut"


     
  2. Turn on the Shortcut option and choose one of the following:
    • Hear Battery Level
    • Skip Forward
    • Skip Backwards

       

      Depending on the application being used, Skip Forward and Skip Backwards can vary in the way it functions. For Example: On the first press and hold, you may be able to go forward or backwards only a few seconds on the current track playing. On a second press and hold, it may allow you go to the next or the previous track.
       
  3. To use your Shortcut, touch and hold the left earbud.


Skip Backwards is a feature added to the QC Earbuds in the Bose App versions:
  • iOS: 5.0.2
  • Android 5.0.1 
  • QC Earbuds firmware version 2.0.7
