To turn on or off the audio gate:
Note: Before you begin, be sure the channel gain is set appropriately for the connected instrument or microphone.
- On your ToneMatch mixer, press the CH EDIT for the channel you want to adjust
- Totate the selector knob to Comp/Gate
- Under the display, rotate the first button (labeled Type on the display) to select Noise Gate, KickGate 1: Regular or KickGate 2: Fast, then press Select
- While playing the connected instrument or mic at the softest level that you would during a performance, rotate the Thresh control until sound begins to cut out, then increase the knob just enough so sound doesn't cut
- While playing the connected instrument or mic normally, rotate the Tight or Speed control from 0% (slowest) to 100% (faster) for the desired effect.
