Cannot connect optical cable
If you have difficulty plugging in an optical cable to the optical digital audio jack on your system, try the following:
Be sure to remove the protective cap on the optical connector.
Optical cables have a protective cap on the connector. This cap must be removed before inserting the connector into its jack.

.If using an optical cable, check that it is inserted correctly and securely.
Optical cables only connect one way. Look at the optical jack on the soundbar and be sure the shape of the optical connector is aligned correclty before plugging in. No click will be felt or heard when connected but the cable should feel securely in place.
