Red Wi-Fi LED blinking continuously

To resolve this issue, try the following:

Reset your product.

Much like rebooting a smartphone, your product might need to be reset on occasion to correct minor issues. For more info, see Resetting your product.

Make sure the home network's Internet connection is working.

Test the Internet connection by accessing the main Bose homepage at www.Bose.com from either the computer that is being used, or a different device connected to the network to determine if there is Internet access.

Check to see if other devices on your network are using too much bandwidth.

When a device is active on your network, they use some of the available bandwidth of your router. Some tasks use more bandwidth than others—like video streaming, gaming, video calls, data backups, etc. If devices are performing these tasks, bandwidth can decrease for other devices. Turn off any device or app that might be using a lot of bandwidth, then check if performance improves. If possible, use an Ethernet cable instead of Wi-Fi to connect high-bandwidth devices to your network. This frees up wireless bandwidth for devices that need to be connected wirelessly.

Reboot your router.

Routers may need to be reset from time to time—much like rebooting a computer. Disconnect power from the router for 30 seconds, then wait for it to start up and connect. (Note: Any device connected to the Internet will be interrupted during the reset.)

Verify that the system is running the most current version of software by performing a system update

If the system is running on power from the Accessory battery, connect the system to a working outlet then determine if the system is able to check for a system update (which will automatically install, if necessary). For more information, see Updating the software or firmware of your product.

Restore the system to its factory defaults and re-run the Wi-Fi Setup Application with the latest version of the app.

For info on restoring your system, see Resetting your product. Once restored, download the latest version of the Bose SoundLink Air Wi-Fi Setup Application for Windows or Mac. Follow the application instructions to get started.
