Rated 5 out of 5 by from Amazing headphones....a long time waiting! This review actually is for the Bose Quiet Comfort 15 headphones as I have been meaning to post a review for a while. I got my Bose audio cancelling headphones in 2011 (Quiet Comfort 15) and since then they have provided me with a great sound and ability to listen to music. They have been well used and come in handy for many occasions. There is wear and tear as the outer material is coming away however this is minor overall. As the headphones have been with me for 4 years it shows the quality and long lifespan Bose products have. Even though it was a long time waiting I have been a very satisfied customer and would recommend Bose to anyone!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from ...Amazing Now\, I was at first a bit hesitant to spend this much money on a pair of headphones as I had never really spent over £160 on a single pair of headphones. In the end as you have probably already guessed I ended up purchasing these truly amazing headphones. Honestly I listen to songs and I hear things I didn’t even know were there before. These headphones have an amazing way of making you feel as though you’re actually in the room with band-orchestra. Firstly\, vocals blow you away. At times higher pitched singers can be a bit uncomfortable on louder settings but trust me\, these headphones play notes just as well if not better than the musician intended. Now\, what I’m sure most of you want to know is how good the sound cancelling actually is? Well\, I shall simply say… I have never had a more relaxing experience on train\, sitting in the back of a car or sitting in a noisy environment. However\, don’t purchase these headphones expecting them to cancel out voices and loud speakers of such\, yes they will cancel the noise out to a degree but these headphones are not designed to cancel voices. Now\, how long can you wear these headphones before your ears become sore? Hot? The simple answer is I can happily wear these to up to about 17 hours before I need to even consider taking them off. They allow your ears to breath and have just the right amount of applied pressure to make sure they stay firmly on your head but not too much that you constantly notice them. Fortunately the bass on these headphones has lived up too Bose ‘base supremacy’ in the audio industry at times I have found myself with my mouth wide open at the power and perfect delivery\, and sometimes I have even so caught up in the beauty of the sound quality I break into a full dance. When I put these headphones on everything around me just drops away and its just me\, my work and my music. Cons: I have noticed a fair bit of sound leaks (when people around you can also hear you music) which in my personal opinion leads to restrictions on the use of the headphones out In public. Also\, the silver casing on the sides of the black & blue version is hollow. Unfortunately\, I put my chord in the wrong way and zipped my case up only to latter discover I have dented the sides around my noise cancelling switch (This has annoyed me a fair bit as now the actual use of the switch has become far rougher and stiff) I’m not sure if this was just to bring the cost of producing the product down or just a poorly thought out design issue (which I’m pretty sure its not as Bose have been known to look over every tiny detail in ridiculous amounts of detail) but none the less annoys me. Other than that I would 100% recommend these headphones to anyone\, weather you love deep bass\, high acoustics or awesome guitar solos these are definitely the headphones for you! The price you might think is a bit much but they are well worth every penny! I bought mine from John Lewis as I wanted to pick them up and try them on but I’m sure online purchase will work just fine. Again awesome pair of headphones well worth it!

Do QC®25 headphones use batteries?

Yes. QC®25 headphones run on a single AAA battery, included in the box. You can expect an average of 35 hours of use per battery.

Can I listen to music even if the battery has run out?

Yes. QC®25 headphones are still able to play audio if the battery is depleted. Without power, however, noise cancelling and Active EQ, which electronically provide more lifelike audio reproduction, are disabled. These technologies need power to operate.

Which Apple products are compatible with QC®25 headphones?

QC®25 headphones are designed specifically for use with selected iPod®, iPhone® and iPad® models. The inline microphone/remote puts controls at your fingertips. Switch easily between music and calls, and adjust volume, play or pause, skip songs, fast forward or rewind, even change playlists.

Do QC®25 headphones work with other smartphones?

Yes. These headphones are compatible with most Android™, Windows® and BlackBerry® smartphones. Many features of the inline microphone/remote will work with today's most popular phones. You can also use QC®25 headphones with mobile and home audio devices that have a standard 3.5 mm jack.

Are QC®25 headphones waterproof?

No. They are not designed to be used in wet environments.

Are these Bluetooth® audio headphones?

No. QC®25 headphones are not Bluetooth enabled, but they can be used without a cable for noise cancellation. For wireless convenience and Bose® quality sound, please consider our wireless headphones.

Why is an extra adapter included with QC®25 headphones?

You can use the airline adapter plug to connect to in-flight entertainment systems that have dual output connectors.
