Removing a product from my Bose Music account

In the Bose Music app, from the My Bose screen, tap the Account Settings icon in the top-right corner of the screen.

Tap Manage Speakers > Edit.

 Select the product you want to remove.

Tap Delete.

Tap Remove to confirm that you want to remove the product.

To return to the My Bose screen, tap the icon in the top-left corner of the screen.

Important things to note:

When you remove the product, your presets are removed.

If you are signed in to the product with your Amazon account and remove the product from your Bose Music account, it could take up to one hour for Alexa to be removed from your product. To remove Alexa immediately, unplug the product from the power supply then plug it in again. Once Alexa has been removed, anyone using the product will no longer be able to access Alexa.

Note: Amazon Alexa isn’t available in all languages and countries.

When you remove the product while off the network, it could take up to one hour for the product to be removed. To remove Alexa immediately, go to Amazon.co.uk and navigate to the product. Tap the product with the Bose product name (not the name you gave your product) > Deregister.

If someone else signed in to the product with their Amazon account and you remove the product from your Bose Music account, they will still have access to Alexa.
