If the progress of the installation has ceased according to the app but it is shown as proceeding on the system’s display, allow the download to continue and finish. It is possible that the app is out of sync with the device. Close and re-open the app if this is the case
Exit or close other applications that are using bandwidth on the network
If multiple systems are being updated at once, update one system at a time
Make sure that the system, or, if applicable, the system’s wireless adapter, is within range of the wireless router
Move any sources of wireless interference that may be affecting the system, such as a wireless Internet router, cordless phone, TV, microwave, Apple AirPort Express or similar appliances
Reboot the router by disconnecting power to the router. Wait 30 seconds, then reconnect the power
Perform a product reset.
Change the router’s setting to operate on another channel, such as 1, 6 or 11, as these channels do not interfere with one another
Make sure that the router’s firmware is up to date
If you are using a Wi-Fi network extender, repeater or access point, disconnect the power to the extender or repeater and move the system so that it is within range of the main router
Connect the system directly to the router via an Ethernet cable
Perform the update at a later time
