Certain Settings or System menu options unavailable

Depending on the source you've selected, some settings and/or functions may be unavailable. To get a better understanding, see these steps:

Check to see if the System menu can be displayed.

If the System menu cannot be displayed, see System menu does not appear on TV screen

When Audio Processing is set to Automatic, certain audio settings are not available.

If Audio Processing is set to Automatic, you cannot manually adjust Movie EQ, Range Compression or Mono Decoding. These settings will be automatically set and will not be shown in the settings menu. For more info, see Changing Audio Processing settings.

If there is an audio CD or MP3 CD in the drive, different Settings menu options are displayed.

When an audio CD or MP3 CD is in the drive, the "Track" option is added to the Settings menu

If there is a DVD in the system, options in the Settings menu will be different.

When a DVD is in the system, the following Settings menu options are added to the existing menu:
  1. Time
  2. Title
  3. Chapter
  4. Audio Track
  5. Subtitle Language
  6. Camera Angle
  7. AB Repeat

The Widescreen TV setting changes the options available in the System menu.

Different video settings appear in the system menu when Widescreen TV is set to Yes or No. For more info, see Using the Widescreen TV setting.

Reset your media center.

A reset is used to correct occasional product issues. It is not something that a product should require repeatedly. For more information, see Resetting your product.

Your media center may need service.

If the steps provided do not resolve your issue, your product may need service. Follow the link below for more information on how to service your product. Depending on your product and region, you will be provided a contact number or the ability to setup service online.
