Determining the Wi-Fi network name and signal strength of your product

Your system can show the name of network it is connect to as well as the Wi-Fi signal strength it is receiving from that network.

To obtain the received signal strength of the system, follow these steps:

  1. On the system, press the Power button to turn the system on
  2. Press and hold 5 and Volume - for approximately 5 seconds. "Hold for system information" will appear on the display and a countdown from 5 will begin


  3. Once the countdown ends, the first menu item of the system information screen will appear
  4. Press Volume - until "2.5 RSSI" appears. Text will appear below the heading indicating the signal strength of the signal being received from the router or access point.
      If there is no 2.5 menu item, the system software is not up to date. Press Volume + to display 2.4 RSSI
  5. If this menu item was skipped over, press Volume + to go back
  6. To exit the system information screen, press the power button

To obtain the received signal strength of the system using the app, follow these steps:

  1. In the SoundTouch app, choose the menu icon in the upper left corner.

  2. Choose "Settings" -> About".
      

  3. Select the desired system to view that system's information. Signal strength is listed as "RSSI Signal Strength".
