Certain CD tracks keep repeating

If your system unexpectedly plays the same song or content of an inserted disc over and over, try the following:

Check for sources of interference.

Electronics can pick up interference from other electronics connected to the same power circuit or connected within close proximity. Try disconnecting the power cord from any such nearby electronics (i.e. laptop/phone charger, TV, cable box, seasonal lights, microwave, etc.). If the issue is resolved, try connecting the device or your product to a different power circuit or farther away.

Check that the repeat feature is turned off.

When the repeat feature is enabled, content plays repeatedly. For more info, see Using the Repeat play mode with CDs.

Be sure your system supports the type of disc you are trying to play.

If the issue is with certain types of discs, check that your system supports that type of disc. For more info, see Disc compatibility charts.

Reset your media center.

A reset is used to correct occasional product issues. It is not something that a product should require repeatedly. For more information, see Resetting your product.

Your media center may need service.

If the steps provided do not resolve your issue, your product may need service. Follow the link below for more information on how to service your product. Depending on your product and region, you will be provided a contact number or the ability to setup service online.
