Putting a system into Setup mode

Entering Setup mode lets you connect a device to the Wi-Fi network broadcast by the Bose system. This is useful for system set up and diagnostics.

To enter Setup mode:

  1. On the top of the speaker, simultaneously press and hold the 2 and Vol - buttons.
    press two and volume down
    A countdown beginning from five and the message "Hold for setup" appears in the display.

  2. Wait until the Wi-Fi status indicator light glows amber, then release the buttons.
    "Setup" appears in the display and the Wi-Fi status indicator light will glow amber while in Setup mode.
For the next steps, refer to the SoundTouch app or instructions that asked you to enter Setup mode.
