Entering or exiting battery protection mode
Your product is equppied with battery protection mode which preserves battery power when the system is unplugged and unused for a certain amount of time. We'll show you how it works and how to take it out of battery protection mode.
Connect your product to an AC (mains) outlet to exit battery protection mode.
The speaker enters battery protection mode to preserve battery integrity when the speaker is not connected to power and it goes unused for either:
Note: Do not store the speaker for extended periods when the battery indicator blinks red. When not in use, store the speaker in a cool place.
- Three days when the remaining battery charge is greater than 20 percent
- One day when the remaining battery charge is less than 20 percent

Be sure to use a compatible power supply.
The original Bose power supply is recommended to properly power your speaker. If the speaker is in protection mode due to a period of unuse, it may require 3 Amps to wake the speaker from this mode. Be sure the USB power supply you are using is able to output 3 Amps.
