Connecting Bluetooth® headphones to an Airline Entertainment System

Instructions on connecting your Bluetooth headphones to an In-Flight Entertainment System.

Connect Bose Bluetooth® headphones to an in-flight entertainment system using a Bluetooth® transmitter

In-Flight Entertainment Systems typically have a 3.5mm headphone jack in the armrest. To use Bluetooth headphones, you will need to connect a Bluetooth transmitter to the headphone jack and pair with your headphones.

These can be found on Amazon and other electronics stores. The TaoTronics wireless Bluetooth transmitter found on Amazon.com (and available elsewhere) has been tested and known to work with Bose wireless headphones. Some users may notice a delay in audio playback watching a video—This is due to processing limitations when Bluetooth technology is not integrated with the video device.
