The Sleep app will no longer be available for download after 21 July 2025.
Bose Sleepbuds were discontinued in 2023. Despite their passionate following, Sleepbuds did not reach the level of adoption we hoped they would. On 21 July, 2025, we will end development of the Bose Sleep app and remove it for download. To continue using your Sleepbuds without the app, lock your Sleepbuds to your favorite setting with Phone-free mode. For more info, visit Using Phone-Free mode.

Q: Can I use my Sleepbuds without the Sleep app?
A: In Phone-free mode, a pre-selected sleep sound will play as soon as the Sleepbuds are removed from the charging case — no app required. To use Phone-free mode, open the Sleep app on a compatible device, then go to Settings > Options > Phone-free mode. For more info, support.bose.com/phonefreemode.

A: No, the Sleep app will no longer be available for download after this date.
Q: If I already have the app installed, can I continue using it?
A: If the app is installed on your mobile device, you can continue using the app. However, if the app is uninstalled, it cannot be redownloaded. Additionally, since the app is no longer supported, functionality is not guaranteed if your mobile device operating system updates.
Q: If I downloaded the Android APK from Bose.com, can I install it after 21 July 2025?
A: If you have a saved APK installer for the Sleep app, you can try installing it. However, since support for the Sleep app has ended, functionality is not guaranteed.
