Using the Headphones jack to connect headphones or other speakers

In the menu for your system, you can set the"Headphones" jack to "Headphones" or "Line Out." Selecting "Headphones" gives you the option to connect headphones to your system while selecting "Line Out" lets you send audio from your system to another powered speaker system.

To configure your Headphones jack as a Line Out or Headphones connection:

  1. On your system, press and hold Menu until –SETUP MENU– appears on the display
  2. Repeatedly press the Play Mode / Options button until HEADPHONES JACK is displayed
  3. Press the Menu / Adjust button to select either LINE OUTPUT or HEADPHONES
  4. Wait to seconds to exit the menu.
