System continuously reboots

If your system continuously turns itself completely off (as if power was lost) and restarts itself on its own, try the following:

Try updating your product using an alternate update method.

If your product isn't updating as expected, there are alternate ways to update it. For more info, see Updating the software or firmware of your product.

Try updating your product using the different available alternate update method.

If a particular update for your product isn't installing as expected, there are alternate ways to install it. Try the different update methods to find that one works. For more info, see Updating the software or firmware of your product.

Reset your control console.

A reset is used to correct occasional product issues. It is not something that a product should require repeatedly. For more information, see Resetting your product.

Disconnect the iPod or iPhone from your product for 60 seconds.

Remove the iPod or iPhone from your system for 60 seconds, then re-dock it and try again.

Remove and reseat the iPod dock connector

Disconnect and reconnect the iPod dock connector from the back of the control console.

Check for and install any available product updates.

The Control Console may need service.

If the steps provided do not resolve your issue, the Control Console may need service. Follow the link below for more information on how to service the Control Console. Depending on your product and region, you will be provided a contact number or the ability to setup service online.
